Harvest Praise

Description

Lord of the harvest, hear our praise,
For fields that shine with golden days;
For soil once sown with care and toil,
Now yielding bread from fruitful soil.
Your hand sustains, your love provides,
The earth gives life on every side.

Bless those who labour, weary, worn,
Who rise at dusk, who wake at dawn;
Through drought or flood their hearts remain,
In hope they sow, through loss and gain.
In every furrow, sweat, and tear,
Your Spirit whispers: I am near.

For flocks and herds, for fish and fowl,
For gifts that fill both heart and bowl;
For milk and honey, grain and seed,
For all you give to meet our need.
Creation sings, the heavens tell:
God’s bounty flows, and all is well.

Teach us, O Lord, to share your store,
To guard the earth, exploit no more;
To feed the hungry, lift the weak,
To find your kingdom where we seek.
Till all are filled and none denied,
And harvest joy is multiplied.

We lift our thanks, our hearts we raise,
Lord of the harvest, hear our praise!”
